There are many threads still accesable from as far back as 2003 but in order to find them you need a keyword that the thread contains and if possible the name of the poster who posted that keyword. The poster name is not mandatory but it helps when trying to a find particular old thread.
You have to use the advanced search function in almost all cases.
Here is a link to a thread I posted in back in 2003 about Old Time Baseball stars. I used the keyword Mantle (knowing Mickey Mantle would be in a thread about great players from the past).
