Wagers cancelled at 5dimes

quick question..

5dimes just put out their tennis lines, and they made 2 ridiculous mistakes. they had nadal at -155 against monfils (should've been -500) and murray +225 against verdasco (shouldve been -500). i made both bets right away. of course, within three minutes, the bad lines were gone, and about 15 min later my bets were cancelled.

was that something to expect? or should i try and get those bets back somehow?

no let it go, books don't like you betting into bad lines. Be glad they noticed it right away and cancelled.

Yeah those will get canceled by any book if it's just a blatant mistake like that.

Tony will talk to you.

One day he will shoot the shit with you for an hour, another day, he will say... "you want the account canceled ?" ten seconds into the call.

I've talked to him maybe 3-4 times in 5+ years.

Not really. See, Tony is the same if you are right or wrong. "Too bad, that's my decision". I don't have a problem with it, if he's right...But the fact is sometimes he or his employees screw up but he doesn't have the patience to understand the situation or recognize/admit the error.

He's just a hardass egomaniac, protecting his shop and his bottom line regardless of right or wrong. I don't mind a fair hardass - but that's not Tony.

last year in buckets there was a bad line at betjam and i bet into it and then called them and informed them...........they let me have the wager and gave me a fifty dollar Bonus Play....................:nohead:

into an obvious bad line? Now everyone
knows you're a cheater. Next time call
the book, tell them, they might let u
place your normal wager as a reward
for letting them know about the obvious
human error
