80-1

LMFAO

UNDOUBTEDLY THE WORST WORLD SERIES ODDS ON THE RAYS IN THE WORLD AT THAT TIME.

Stated for years, there is no accountability for futures wagering in Vegas. Even slots have to pay a certain=percentage(76% payback minimum I believe), not true with Vegas futures, where sometimes the hold is around 40% or more!!!

They probably had the RED SOX at 8-5 to win the World Series on April 1st.

Buddy of mine here in LV had TB 200-1 from Janurary. He hedged out of it throughout the playoffs.

Make the number

Well presuming both the Sox and the Yankees make at least a short list of "impact" off season signings, they will be at 96.5 and 93.5 respectively.

Which would leave the Rays a pinch lower...probably 90.5 could draw good action both Over & Under

Leading to my belief that Rays will enter late March as at best third in the AL East futures at least 5 or 6x1 to win the division.

there was some off shore books that held (Or did not realize they had it) 150-1 in mid May when you could see there was some chance..I did not play it

futures are usually forgotten by sportsbook employees, thus, you can usually find bargains if you look hard enough. Of course thats not the way it should be, but it happens.

Not to boast, but when I made the odds behind the counter, I checked AND changed the futures odds every couple days in MLB, NHL, and the NBA.

This accomplished two things

1. Most importantly, not having the odds to high on a specific team.

2. Getting more volume, especially on longshot teams.
