Felix Sturm vs Sebastian Sylvester: WBA Middleweight Championship

My pick is FELIX STURM to win

Odds : - 245

Where : 5dimes

Last time was not so great getting a first loss with boxing plays in close to 2 years but today I can see a winner coming my way .

boxer: Sebastian Sylvester

won 29 (KO 14) + lost 2 (KO 2) + drawn 0 = 31
rounds boxed 213 : KO% 45.16

boxer: Felix Sturm

won 30 (KO 13) + lost 2 (KO 1) + drawn 1 = 33
rounds boxed 226 : KO% 39.39

Both lost twice in their career , watched both of Sturm's losses live on TV and I must say those losses were special , 2004 he was robbed in Las Vegas in his fight against nobody else but Oscar De La Hoya himself . Second fight he lost 2006 to Javier Castillejo due to a broken jaw in the 10th round .
Sylvester is no bum either but guy just doesn't impress me and I highly doubt he can take on Felix Sturm . Sturm will have a solid height and reach advantage here being 5' 11½ to Sylvester's 5' 7 ½ . Overall I think Sturm is the more skilled fighter here and should come in well prepaired for this fight . Should be a '' fair called '' winner here with both guys coming from Germany referees shouldn't give some biased decision .

Aight .

Sergiy Dzinziruk over Joel Julio , Cristian Mijares over Vic Darchinyan and Felix Sturm over Sebastian Sylvester for 5dimes account holders would get solid + 160 combined odds .
All decent favs and I cant see any of them going down , only semi-dangerous is probably Mijares who could lose by a fluke punch cuz Vic got real power otherwise he should outpoint him whole fight .

I like the pick. I will *never* forget Felix against DLH. I had him at something like over +200 and was COMPLETELY robbed! That was supposed to be DLHs tune up fight for Hopkins (Hopkins fought earlier the same night, also in a tune up). Judges knew Hopkins won, so going against DLH would mean that the biggest fight (at the time) would not happen, along with the revenues. So, I've always felt that Felix deserved the win but never got it. He's a solid fighter, -245 seems like a good price

Vic Darchinyan

won 30 (KO 24) + lost 1 (KO 1) + drawn 1 = 32
rounds boxed 184 : KO% 75

Cristian Mijares

won 36 (KO 15) + lost 3 (KO 0) + drawn 2 = 41
rounds boxed 290 : KO% 36.59

Vic the Raging Bull as always has a punchers chance cuz of the power in his left but there are just too many other things that are bad for him and he will never change them : He does lean in and he comes in wide which will leave him open for almost any punch to the head .
I would say Cristian is a smart guy and knows he can outpoint Vic any day for a decision win but he will have to watch for that fkn swinging left hand . He does have a good chin tho and should handle the situation if he eats one of the big swingers .

Victor Oganov vs Andre Dirrell

Andre Dirrell Dirrell wins inside distance -187 looks good too or a most likely safer bet Under 8½ -220 . Someone is getting KOed here hard , most likely Victor will be on the receiving end .
