With Texas losing to Texas Tech, I now believe that Oklahoma is back in the Title picture as they still play both Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. If they win out, they could easily be a 3 way tie for the South Division of the big 12 with the tiebreaker perhaps coming down to who has the highest BCS ranking. The funny part of the puzzle is that Oklahoma needs a 3 way tie as they would lose the tiebreaker to Texas in a 2 way battle. So I believe that Oklahoma needs Texas Tech to beat Oklahoma State next week to stay in control of their own destiny. I think Florida's chances just went way up also after their drubbing of Georgia. I just bought some more florida at 12/1 yesterday at Wynn here in Las Vegas.
Actually not really that many games left. Oklahoma will be a favorite in their 3 remaining games as they get Texas Tech at home. Biggest roadblock for sooners is they need Texas Tech to beat Oklahoma State next week. Never an easy spot after beating the number 1 team in the country ! If Florida wins out I feel they will be in the BCS Championship game ! Texas is now 15/1 I feel if Oklahoma gets into the Big 12 Championship game, they win beat Missouri or whoever they meet. Perhaps Oklahoma/Florida as I feel Penn State will get blown out by Florida or USC but USC is a long shot to get into the BCS game
There will not be any 2 loss teams in Title picture this year IMHO. Until this possible 3 way tie for Big 12 South Division, Oklahoma was down like 1 1/2 games to Texas. Now it's a brand new game !
Sooners are my favorite to win the big 12 ! A 1 loss Oklahoma should pass an undefeated Penn State. If not, We will see another lousy so called Championship game. The Little 10 will lay another egg !
