I have always liked PSU's programs (back in the conference shakeup days, I thought the ACC should have sold the bank to get PSU) and this is a bitter cold tough beat. Hats off to Iowa, a deserved memorable win.

Hardly, as I deal in reality, as I've stated all week long.

Had Iowa ranked as about the 40th-50th best team in the nation before today........with this win, I would put them up to about 30th with their 1pt win at HOME over a team that I had ranked somewhere 16th-25th in the nation.

Positives for the HAWKS.........

QB Stanzi was very impressive in the 2nd half and the defense gave a great effort considering all long they were on the field all day. Shonn Green hammered his way to yet another 100+ yard day.

As Red Eye and myself indicated all week, PSU was/is not an elite team this year. I will be honest, although I mentioned that Iowa could win this game, thought PSU would come away with the win..........it was not to be.

Not hating on USC, they clearly have the best defense in the country, but people act like beating average OSU team and beating Cal does not exactly make you the best team in the country.

Thats what most of you non believers say every year, then they stick it up their BCS opponents ass . When are you going to learn ? But after little 10 goes down again you have nothing to hang your hat on.

yes, but for some reason USC has had 1 unbeaten season in Pete Carroll's tenure.

If they could just beat Oregon State Stanford and UCLA every year.

You don't need to win every game every year to win it. How many champions do win every game. Not to many that i can remember.
