There is now no way that Penn State will ever even get a thought for the BCS game now and of course they never should have been considered anyway with their pathetic schedule ! Now however it appears that they just might make it to the Rose Bowl and once again I see an embarrasing loss heading for them ! Where are all those Big 10 backers now ? I said 3 weeks ago I would take Florida or USC winner take all against over rated Penn State !

If Oregon State wins out they'll be in the Rose Bowl.

If Oregon St. wins out, than what happens if we get a one-loss USC team, undefeated Boise, and undefeated Utah all ranked in the Top 10 of the BCS fighting it out for two BCS spots?

It is a given that the SEC is taking UF and Bama and that the Big XII will get two which means that there would only be two at-large spots left to distribute between Utah, Boise, and USC. Does anyone know what would happen?

It's not a given at all. If Alabama beats Florida and USC wins out, USC would get the at-large spot in the BCS for being in the top 6. Florida would get the Capital One or Outback Bowl.

No way. Barring a third loss, UF will be in the Top 6. I feel quite confident about that.

No way they put Florida in above that.

1) Alabama 13-0
2) Texas 12-1
3) Oklahoma 11-1
4) USC 11-1
5) PSU 11-1
6) Texas Tech 11-1

I'd bet two-loss UF would find a way above one-loss USC or one-loss PSU

Isn"t The Rule That

only 1 Non BCS tm can be in one of their bowls? If so I hope it's Utah. Rose will be OSU/PSU, if, big if they beat the Ducks. If not SC/PSU. NC Game? IMO Fl/B12, whichever B12 is the highest BCS rated. If OU beats TT, they'll have a choice OU or Tx. I know Tx beat OU, but it will be whichever one is the higher rated tm. And yes, I think Gators will kick Tides ass. What a hell of a gm TT vs Gators would be.

True statement but the big catch is the big if ! Oregon
State still has 3 tough games left on their schedule. They certainly could easily lose all 3 games. My $$ says that USC will win their last 2 conference games and Oregon State will lose at least one of their 3 remaining games. Oregon State's 3 remaining opponents are 6-3, 6-3, and 7-3.

PSU would win the Big X, so they're in automatically. A one loss USC team would get in before a 2 loss Florida, as they would get an automatic bid for being in the top 6.

If Florida loses to Alabama, it is over for them. This is a pretty much stone cold lock if there ever was one. No way they jump all the 1 loss teams & possibly undefeated Boise State. Utah won't be there as BYU beats them by double digits.
