I bet a lot started with them little parlay sheets in football, where you have to pick at least 3 games on it.they kept a lot of small time bookies in business...ck

A trainer in Chicago was my first recollection of money being passed to me. He told me he would give me some money if this horse won and it did. He handed me a handful of cash and I followed him around the entire rest of the day.

Horses first then foots.

I booked a bet of a buddy of mine($25) on Super Bowl I(1967). He took the Chiefs +14 and Green Bay covered easily 35-10.
