OT Boy did I just get some bad news at work!!!!!!!!

Was just told today that my pay is being cut 12%, my company 401(k) contribution has been stopped and my work week has been cut from 40 hours down to 32 hours until further notice. On top of all this my investments are down over $400,000 since July. This Country in in far worse shape then we think. It's getting down right scary and I feel very sorry for the folks that struggle from week to week.

People that are close to retirement that have suffered these losses are in terrible shape. No chance for recovery. Then we end up with people, who should be at home relaxing watching the Price is Right, working at Walmart and McDonalds.

I guess I can feel fortunate to a certain extent as I work on commission and my company raised their prices cut two positions and we all have to do more to absorb the cuts.

Which means we make more money,but work more hours.

I"m hating the more hours part though.

Look at the not so bright side.............No Inflation.......LOL

My advice is to become an ADVANTAGE CASINO player.........be it through blackjack, video poker, slots, poker, or sportsbetting.

For Godsakes man, you live in Buffalo..............you can pick up money easily on the various casinos in your area.

As stated, you now have an extra 8 hours a week off from work, perfect time to become an advantage(+EV) casino player.

no 401k sucks but you might have gotten a great deal....

if they cut your pay by 12% but cut your hours by 20%, you are in essense getting a raise!

but if they cut your pay(hourly) by 12% AND cut your house by 20%, you got the royal anal-rapage
