Why would anyone live in NW Indiana?

The whole place smells like a sewer.

They get about 5 times as much snow as Chicago does and Chicago gets a lot.

You are about 3 times as likely to get car-jacked there than L.A.

I dont get it.

I cant figure out why anyone would want live East of the 405 ? Would live in a van on PCH before a Million dollar mansion in the midwest.Soumi

My folks live in Dyer, no problems there, 5 min drive to Illinois

Have relatives in rolfe - algona area. Not much to do for sure, but Fish is right. At least Algona has some of the fast food chains--algona may well disappear.
