I generally like their athletic programs across all sports and respect the school for academics but hate the loud 'all hat no cattle' fans and hate the wasted contract hours NBC squanders paying national reverence to their boring long-gone football program.

The lucky Irish have actually made me more money than just about any college team in around...And personally I think it would be great for football if they were to become a power again. But they're going to need a new dynamic coach with college recruiting and coaching ties from around the country in order for this team to be successful again..Hiring coaches from the NFL is a shot in the dark. 8 out of 10 of them fail in the college ranks because they aren't familiar enough in coaching circles to hire a first class staff that can recruit good players...That's a fact.
