Anyone in the Baltimore/DC district renting out there place for inauguration? I have heard of people going as high as 5,000 a night depending on location. I am about 30 minutes from DC and thinking about asking for 1,000 a night for my 2 bedroom apartment. Cant hurt to put up something on craigslist.

buddy of mine is, he lives in DC, Dupont center area or something like that, he is asking $800/night, 5 night minimum. He has had a lot of interest but not sure if he has rented it yet. I guess that was a reasonable rate from what he saw on craigslist, 1BR/BA condo.

People here in Denver were making good money renting out their homes for the Convention. Oprah allegedly paid $50,000 to rent one home for the week. Madness.
