Just would like some inputs. I did see someone post the name of one here a couple weeks ago but didnt write it down nor can I find it. Christmas lists go out Thursday for me and I want a nice book to read. Dont want a book on how to gamble, but something like a day in the life of a gambler sort of. Any comments would be nice! Thanks

Educational or fun read?

There are a ton of good threads here with this info, go under search and look for them. I have honestly 50 gambling books in my home.

Diary of a football hanidcapper is dated but not bad.

King of a small world is a decent poker novel I have read.

whats up buddy, came across your post

if you just want an easy read try one of the first two

1. amarillo slim in a world full of fat people: the memoirs of the worlds greatest gambler who ever lived. (great book and a book that will keep you reading from start to finish)

2. john daly, my life in and out of the rough (another good book and easy read that is not so much about gambling but if you know john you know he is a guy who gambles and has some great life stories)

3. one of a kind: the rise and fall of stu ungar, worlds greates poker player

4. poker face of wall street. ( not a book on poker really, more of risk taking and calculating odds and finance) cool book

5. the banker, the professor and the suicide kings

if you want a good book off topic that will be a long read but awesome book

the iceman: confessions of a mafia contract killer
