Being a huge Lions fan (no laughing please) I feel it is my responsibility to at least give you a few reasons to watch todays game.

Calvin Johnson is a big time player. I am not sure most of you have had a chance to watch him yet but he is amazing. Realize he has had Jon Kitna, Dan Orlovsky, Daunte Culpepper and Drew Henson throwing him the ball this year and he still has managed to put up over 900 yards and 8 TD's so far. The sky is the limit with this guy. If he was on a good team he would be one of the best players in the NFL. In the next few years he will be the best reciever in the game.

The other guy is Kevin Smith the RB from Central Florida who is a rookie. You guys will be surprise how good this guy is also playing behind the worst offensive line in football. He runs hard and has great moves but isnt the fastest guy for his size. Just became the starter the past few games and has really took off. He averages 4.5 yards per carry which is unreal behind this offensive line. There are at least 5 plays a game where a complete breakdown happens and the Lions lose 3 yards or more every game due to this O-line of there and he still has put up 4.5 ypc.

Now onto the other side: the defense is one of the worst defense's in NFL history and you can also witness this firsthand today. They are on pace to break the NFL record of most points allowed. Meaning a lot of good plays for the offense of the Titans. It doesnt matter however the Titans choose to operate it will be easy for them to move the ball

Also dont you want to be able to say that you seen the first 0-16 team in NFL hstory, well this is your one and only shot for most of you:missingte

Enjoy it should be fun. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Might there be a little letdown by Tenn today coming off their first loss of the year, and a short week? I played Detroit +7 -115 for first half. Detroit has started fast the last couple of weeks.

You are absolutely right about him, maybe the most talented runner in NFL but hard to gauge behind that OL as you stated. Plus he is a must for Fantasy leagues now if he is still cheap. Keep your head up Ice, the Lions will win one this year ... it is still the NFL after all, won't be shocked if they getit today, just hope they dont go out to 17-0 lead!!!

HTG to you and keep the fine posts coming.

If I'm the Lions, I make a play for Andy Reid after the season.

Thanks and to you also.

I dont see a win only cause their defensive is so bad. You have to see this to beleieve it. Only way it happens is if they win the turnover battle big and score 30+ points then maybe.

But yes you are right about Smith. He is very good and no one knows this guys. At least the Lions have 2 cornerstones of their franchise with these two guys.

The few times I've seen this defense this year they were never good. At best they can suck it up for 1st & 2nd down and then allow a 22 yd pass on 3rd &15. There are teams like this every year and some way some how they manage to find a win somewhere along the line, you just don't know who the opponent will be. It might be a game where they combine a INT return and a punt return for TD's and the D plays a mediocre game - it can happen, Believe!!

Make no mistake about it, the best player on the Lions is a former IOWA HAWKEYE.

The Lions should start drafting Iowa players, and stay clear of second rung programs such as Central Florida.
