Hardly hear anyone talking about it.

Thankfully maybe the Heisman hype is dying down these days.

That's because it is wide open and one can make a case for no less than six players.

When one considers that arguabbly the nations best RB, Shonn Greene of Iowa, may not even be invited to NY, shows the depth of this years crop.

At this stage, believe COLT McCOY is the leading candidate.

That's true....very little discussion about it. Usually the media has all but given it to someone by this time.

espn will shove it down our throats the week leading up to the presentation... bradford wins it if they can beat the aggies in stillwater tonight.

Agree with this statement regarding Bradford however the Sooners are playing the Cowboys tonight.

How can they not at least invite Shonn Greene with over 1700 yards rushing and possible CapitolOne or Outback Bowl on the horizon for the Hawkeyes. Just being a Doak Walker finalist gets him a shot at The Heisman. Oklahoma's Sam Bradford has to be considered the favorite unless the voters decide to go radical and give the trophy to a defensive player this year.

Would be shocked if a QB does not get it this year and don't rule out Tebow to repeat. Is Stafford still in consideration? still may get drafted before others mentioned here

It might just be my perception but feel like the Heisman doesn't have the cache that it did a few years back, not sure why. Maybe just too many awards and award shows out there in general, tends to make them less special.
