#1 Alabama versus #2 Florida (AP)- make the line for the SEC championship game

The way Florida has been playing lately (have covered 6 straight games) makes this a big favorite in my opinion. At least -7 and maybe over a -10 i think. Wouldnt be surpised if the opened -10.5, wouldnt stun me.

I will take Florida -7 or less easily ad maybe -9.5 to -7.5 for a little less.

What do you guys think?

And then it says to add 4 more for home field on top of that

I had to read that 3 times. I kep thinking you were saying a "tool like I":missingte.

Game is at neutral site (Atlanta).

My numbers (which are suprisingly very accurate I feel) like Florida by 13 but I know that is way too much. My model has a hard time gauging exceptionally good and bad teams also.

The turf in Atlanta is made for the Florida Gators and the spread option. This one could get out of hand. Alabama has looked vulnerable this year, Florida has looked invincible the past 8 games.

Put it in perspective. The SEC is easily the country's best defenses and Florida is 3rd in the country in points scored.

Alabama wins games with their defense and running. They don't do well with shootouts. I look for Florida big over Alabama and will win a closer one with the Big 12 champ in the national championship. The only thing that can cause Florida to lose the national championship is if momentum is lost between winning the SEC and playing the bowl game.

Florida would have broken all scoring records had they played in the Big12

I think some are really underestimating this Bama team. I will take all the +10 and up I can find if that is indeed the line.

Seems high to me Steak. Is that what you think the line should be or your personal opinion on the game? Or both? I wouldn't be surprised if the line is near there but that's too high IMO. I'd love to get Bama at +10 and up.

Thanks. Those take a while, if its bad he wont play. That changes things a lot. Florida -6 probably if he doesn't play.
