Texas jumps Florida in USA poll !

WOW ! Texas trails Oklahoma 1397 to 1396 in todays USA today poll which is part of the BCS formula. However Texas jumped from 4 th to 3 rd. passing of all teams Florida ! If Texas had jumped Oklahoma, I'm quite sure that Texas, not Oklahoma would go to the big 12 Championshipm game. I haven't seen the all important Harris poll yet. No matter who goes... this sucks for whoever is left out !

It would be kind of funny if the 1397 to 1396 poll results could end up deciding who goes to the Championship game.... Any hanging chads ? :lol:

And when Florida jumps Texas next week after beating Alabama, then the final is set....Oaklahoma vs Florida...

You're missing the point here my friend. Texas passed Florida in the very important USA poll by moving from 4 th to 3 rd and they almost passed Oklahoma also. If Texas passes Oklahoma in todays Harris poll.... Oklahoma just might not be going anywhere next week as the Harris and USA poll are 2/3 of the BCS poll. Texas just might just be the one playing Florida for the BCS
Championship. Texas passing Florida means nothing to Florida ! If Florida beats number 1 Alabama next week... they are in !

Texas doesn't care about what Florida does next week ! Texas passing Florida in this weeks poll is huge and it could well be Texas/Florida for the BCS Championship game with Oklahoma on the outside looking in !

I personally don't care if Oklahoma gets burned. They are due it after they threw that stinker a few years ago when undefeated Auburn was forced to take a bite of the BCS Shit Sandwich.

texas should rightfully so get the big 12 slot over oklahoma. they settled that on the field already. that being said if it does go that way and lets say texas loses we will be seeing florida vs oklahoma in the title game. shame for usc but they are stuck in the rose bowl.

If We follow your line of thinking then Texas Tech also settled it on the field ! That's why in a 3 way tie the matter has to be settled on the whole of their season's work.... not head to head because they all have a victory over each other.
