Florida and Alabama will be drawing two tough opponents.

After that, the conference is not looking like it's normal scary and dominating self.

no doubt the georgia and so carolina results knocked the SEC down a peg but they'll still win no less than half their bowl games this year. I definitely don't expect another 78% bowl wins like last year though...SEC is, I think, 13-5 in bowl games in the last two years. Will still be .500+ this year

I hope they have a good pass defense. It looks like them vs Tx Tech in the Cotton Bowl.

The SEC teams will probably be one game under or over .500......or exactly .500 at the conclusion of the bowl season.

For starters.......

Florida W
Alabama L
Georgia W
LSU L
S. Carolina L
Miss W

Tough to say without seeing the draws. I would take Ole Miss over Tech though. Florida could easily lose to OU or USC. LSU should be a dog to whoever they play, same with SC. Georgia will have a much more talented team than whoever they play, but they never play to their talent level it seems.

I could easily see the SEC losing most their games. They're a pretty weak conference this year.

Pretty hard not taking the SEC teams, all basically home games.

expect IOWA to beat another SEC team like they usually do in these bowl matchups.

most have them matched against USC gamecocks in the Outback Bowl.

Are you on crack? Ole Miss over Texas Tech?? No way, no how... Sorry Charlie..

Ole Miss is just not a very good football team. Sure, they won their last 5, and ended the season "on a roll." But take a look at who those last 5 games were against.

As an IOWA fan, I would much rather see the Hawkeyes play LSU...........

Florida and Alabama beat Iowa by more than 10 points.

South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Georgia would be very close games going either way.

Iowa defeats LSU

If Ole Miss does go to the Capital One, the Outback Bowl in Tampa is then expected to take Georgia out of the SEC East, leaving the Cotton Bowl no choice but to take 7-5 LSU out of the SEC West.

looks much more likely that LSU plays Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl btw

no not at all, but if they are matched up against a big 12 team who thinks they are simply going to outscore them they have no shot...I doubt they win all their games but I see the sec going like 4-2

They beat Florida. All I need to know. Texas Tech played two FCS teams too.
