16.4 imo is too big for a laptop

and why you need a bluray drive escapes me

given your videocard will upscale to pc resolution anyway

I have a 15.4 and too be honest I wont go over 14.1 from now on due to ease of carrying around.

desktops are so cheap these days better to use those at home.

My Dell is 15.4 inches, that is as high as I'll go also.
And yeah, why does anybody need a bluray drive?

The Blu Ray was a free upgrade and the writing Blu Rays was like an extra 100 bucks.

I do burn a lot of movies on DVD and the ability of burning to a 25GB Blu Ray drive is appealing.

The size might be a little to big, but it weighs the same much as my 15.4 i have now so that isnt to heavy for me to carry around

My theory is, if you don't feel ripped off and it does everything you need or may want to do in the next 6 months it was a good deal.

Also don't look at prices for the next 6 months or you'll feel sick

Looks like a good deal - especially considering the premium put on Sony products. I doubt you could do much better without a great coupon code.
