Formula plays

Look like the 1st play of the season. Starting Monday, I will be playing all games regardelss if they have played 20 games or not.

Tonight there is one play:

Denver - 5

I look forward to jumping out of the gate hot again this year.

Please remember: If you have enough money to gamble, you have enough money to make an impact in someone else life who has no money at all. Please help those less fortunate than ourselves.
And remember to tell the one's you love, that you love them.

and like u said if u can gamble, donate something especially this time of the year, it feels good knowing that you put a smile on someone elses face that you may never meet. but you made their day better.

We need to.............as the "finish" was only 21-19 last year............

Dose the formula tend to start stronger than it finishes in years past??

if i'm not mistaken, Boston would be a play tonight based on:

Bos905-Ind368=537/20=27-3=24-7.5(spread)=16.5>10 so play on fav (Bos)

Boston and Lakers would both be plays. But, Indiana hasn't played 20 games and neither have the Lakers.

lakers wouldn't be a play b/c the spread is over 10

Good point - following the original rules. I tracked the dougle digits last year and still finished in the black. So, at least at the start, I'll be playing them too.

But, as you noted, rules do state no spread over 10.

Numbers show Hou -7 and Orl -4.5 as plays for Monday (no line yet on OKC game at 5 Dimes).

Hou Injuries - McGrady Out
Orl Injuries - Pietrus Out

Could you please explain this formula in details? Where are those numbers come from and do you factor in injuries? So if any spread is greater than 10 then the favorite is not a play? Would you play the dog in that case? I took the Bucks last night and barely covered by .5. I've seen something similar to your formula in another forum, but forgot the name of the forum. Wish I had it writen down..damn.

i have just a quick question for larry or anyone else who knows. does it matter what site we use for the lines? and all plays shuldnt be made until close to tip right?

favorite win pct subtract dog win pct. add/subtract 3 for being home/away and then subtract the spread, if the final number is above 10 its a play on the fav spread, if the final number is below 0 its a play on the dog
