Florida/Oklahoma pre-game thread:

Thought we could use this thread (sure there will be a few more) to keep things nice and neat for the big game since there are so many more days till the kickoff (over 30 days till gameday).

Should be a great game. I made a decent sized wager last night on Florida -3 -105 at the opener as I think they are the best team in the nation and expected them to be a little bit more of a favorite then this. Havent had a lot of time to think this out though but feel pretty god with this play right now and think this probably be my bet for the "big game".

i think its a bad line....and for about the 10th time this year im gonna do what has been as easy as printing money...i said in other thread i think the books needed to make them at least have to score 40pts to avoid the OU/over scenario and they gave me another gift IMO...

OU and OVER

if they get 35 i cant lose them both....i dont see how this team DOES NOT put up 35pts in this game...its as easy as that....

Though this will be extremely hard to do I am going to probably bet small on the under at kickoff. This line has too go up as I think most everyone will bet the over on this.

Not going to be fun too watch this betting the under. Seems most were going to bet the over no matter what the total was posted at, you would think the linesmaker would know this and would adjust accordingly.

Like yourself I live in vegas also been here 40 years LOL Too long.

However its still a great town for gambling However offshore books such as Pinnacle still have the best odds hands down.

Anyhow Oklahoma, I hate to say WILL BLOW Out FL.

I think we see at least a 10 - 15 blow out They have been on a crusade since the Texas game and have played much stonger teams then FL.

At +3 that is a gift to everyone. Ps I also think Penn st handles USC.

Just ran my numbers and I like Florida even more. Talked to a few well respected bettors this morning and they all liked Florida so this should interesting on how which way this line goes. We shall see, will be mad if I could have had a -2.5. think this goes up a little.

USC doesn't lose too many Bowl games and unless you haven't noticed... Oklahoma has made it a habit of losing bowl games ! Florida will take care of business and -3 is a gift !

CRIS opened Florida -1.5 on Sunday night....Vegas opened 3 the next morning....offshore still rules when it comes to openers...

You arent kidding. I need a cris hookup. I would love to bet there. I bet openers at other place but cris is the best, IMO. Openers are true measure of a capper, one on one versus the books.

I believe the total opened at 73, now down to 71.5.

I am hoping it'll drop to 70 before the public money comes back in on the over. Love the over. Way too scared to take the under. I can't see how the defenses can stop these offenses.

Reminds me of Tex/USC NC game. Both defenses were averaging giving up mid teens yet the offenses were simply too powerful to be stopped. 4th quarter could yield 28 points alone since neither team will go away quietly.

Sorry to differ but the Hilton here in Vegas had Florida -3 Sunday not Monday !
