Played West Virginia +2 last evening. Now Davidson +2.5 is available. That's a nice 5.5 middle. Now I don't think I will buy any back and play a middle, but don't you almost have to play this middle at least for 20% of your bet? Seems to good to pass up...even though I am.

I would just take the good value now - I don't think you can go wrong either way

ya it's a winner anyways so i stayed off it. didn't want to ruin a good bet, but it looked pretty tempting. maybe if it were better numbers like 2 - 7.5. for the most part how do you play this? obviously if you get the +2 it's a great number, but if some of these games are moving upwards of 4 points wouldn't it take away some of the risk if you play at least a small % of your original wager?

People ask this question all the time, and here is my stock answer. If this is ONE isolated instance where you stole a good #, don't even think of buying back. If this is what you do(beat the opening line) over hundreds of games, then you better develop a gameplan(% of buyback) as far as your strategy goes. As enticing as this looks(+2 +2.5), there are much better opportunities. The score right now is 8-7, so it looks like I don't know squat.

When Cuse won the NC in 2003 I had 200 on them at 70/1 prior to the season - when they got to the final 4 I started heding - when it was all said and done I won around 3k rather than the 14

You are one of the few that gets me. For some reason people take me as arrogant, and I'm genuinely sorry for that. I've made every mistake in the book, and I am just trying to save people some misery. Good luck with your capping!
