My worst year ever!!! .... Need some advice

Hi everybody,

Im going to start by saying that this have been my worst year ever. Wish I had found this site earlier this year, but I just found it two weeks ago. It's the best thing since "SLICE BREAD", LOL.. I really mean that... back to the point.

First off Im in love with parlays, that's my biggest problem. Started the year off fairly good then went down hill fast the last 10 weeks. Im currently down a little over two stacks (-$2,300) and need some advice on how to start a come back....

I near really bet straight up... always tease or parlay. I know thats not the correct way. Usually only bet football, but starting this year to bet ncaab & nba.. looks like the guy " Gimmedatt" is the best person to tail in ncaab rightnow. Wish I had followed "Randizzile"..lol.... I wouldn't be hear rightnow....

Im starting rightnow with only a $100 dollars and want to start a comeback. Can someone please advise me on what to do or who to tail?..I know I'll have to bet small unit plays until my bankroll increase. Im willing to listen and learn from all you guys.. Again, this site is unreal.. a dream... If someone can bring me out this hole, I'll forever be in debt to them..

$2-4$ is all you can play if you want to build. (and 4 is way on the high end) I know that sucks but it is what it is. spreadbeater in the NBA is solid year after year.

Can't win consistently with parlays. If your roll is going to be $100 then I would suggest betting $2 units. Meaning if your big plays are going to be 5 units your betting $10. You should be betting 1-2 units a game with the occassional 3-4 units and a rare 5 unit play.

Tail whoever you feel comfortably with and hopefully you can get out of this funk. If your serious about a comeback then:

A. Don't do parlays
B. Don't do teasers
C. Don't put more then 5 units on one game.
D. Risk no more then 10 units per night.
E. Don't bet what you don't have.
F. Don't bet anything that a guy named "Mr.Newlywed" bets.

You will be fine...find a good capper in each sport and tail thier big plays on this site and you will make out good.

GimmeDatt is pretty good in college hoops this year so far.
Hey gimmedatt, so once u have build up the bankroll, do you suppose to increase the $ per unit as well? and how much do u increase?thanks and GL!!!!!!!!

I usually up them during playoffs. Why be greedy? Less risk of losing the bankroll you built up all year. Just keep plugging adding small units to your profit then playoffs you can up some units when you know teams will be playing hard from whistle to whistle. Its the only way I feel comfortable.

man, i've been there...got crushed last year...got smart and started tailing the great handicappers here and on statfox.com and focusing on money management.. a few ideas for you as you build your strategy:

a tease requires 2-0 to win....even if you stack the odds in your favor by manipulating the line to say 65% prob. of winning each bet with a tease....your cumulative probability of winning is only 42%...IMO more often than not you're better off with a straght bet, where you can use some good handicapping to put the odds in your favor.

I'm betting units of .03 of my total bank roll and letting the amount bet increase as my bank roll increases... if you're at 100.00 now start small and let it build... I still get the juices flowing on small bets.

I.D the good handicappers out there and look for consensus among them... if 4-5 of the best cappers here are on a game, it's probably a strong play

Randizzle...tail him.

dude seriously. If you only have $100 bankroll then don't bet. I bet $100 on every game and rarely go above that or below it. $100 is not a sufficient bank roll. I mean if you lost $2,300 you just need to find something else to do. Gambling is about money management. When we bet we also get our blood pumping a little. How can $2-$10 bet on anything get you even a little excited? I would say to save up for the next year and start next season with a bank roll and go from there. GL
