Getting "donations" is 20x better than going tout. Go tout, sell a few, BUT then they get posted and everyone else leeches anyway.
"Donations" can of course be ongoing due the vagaries of life...Laptop crash, car needs brakes, wants to go to bowl games to cap in-person, pet iguana needs a bone marrow transplant, etc, etc.
