They all play football for the same high school team.

Oaks Christian (Ca.) just beat Gardena Serra 63-28 tonight for the school's sixth consecutive Southern Section football championship. Oaks Christian has now won 49 consecutive games.

Oaks Christian plays host to Gardena Serra in the Northwest Division championship on Friday. This year's team features (left to right): Nick Montana, Trevor Gretzky, and Trey Smith.

Good question, who is the starter at QB?

PS I would have guessed they were all people who NES has posters of on his wall.

Montana starts. The other guys I think were on JV, maybe moved up for the playoffs. I went to the game tonight, Oaks rolled 63-28. Covered the 7.5 easily. Running back named Malcolm Jones is a stud.

Serra was no slouch and they manhandled them. However, Oaks' reputation precedes them so teams are reluctant to play them. I would love to see Long Beach Poly and Oaks play.

According to the LA Times article :)pucking:), Oaks doesn't play a very competitive schedule:

http://www.latimes.com/sports/printedition/la-sp-oakschristian10-2008dec10,0,6523910.story

"Hethcock has attempted to upgrade the team's nonleague schedule. Los Angeles Loyola said no thanks, its schedule was full. Santa Ana Mater Dei at first had an opening on its schedule two years ago when Hethcock called. And then suddenly it didn't.

Some might say the Lions themselves are a bit picky. Mission Viejo Coach Bob Johnson said he agreed to play Oaks Christian in consecutive years starting in 2006, but the deal fell apart when the Lions would agree to only one game."

Yeah Jimmy C went to Oaks Christian too. Overhyped. No match for the Mater Dei's, LB Poly's, Servite's, & Tesoro's of the world. Would get manhandled by all those and many more.
