Please make a thread and show us all of your plays next year. I want to see some hard evidence you can make a living off gambling.

I don't but I have toyed with it. My father owned a company and I would gamble and when I lost go into work and pay with that. I managed to not work for a few months in a row but inevitably had to re-up. Now I have no choice because I own that company.

I really don't think many people on this board do it for a living but I don't think it is as difficult as it sounds. Of course if you have the bankroll to withstand a down week or two you will be fine. I figure if you can pull in on average 1 unit a day (does this sound unreasonable?) then you can make a living at it. Assuming you are a pro gamble your units are probably no-less then $250. Winning an average of 1 unit a day is $91,250 a year. But in order for this you have to have good money management, consistency, and you have to be versatile with all the sports.

1 unit a day doesn't seem hard to me if you are betting 1-5 units a play. Maybe its a trap. This subject interests me.

if you are a 54% gambler you have to have close to $8000 in action a night to make $250 on average.

Better yet, let's watch you attempt it and we record your successes/failures along the way.

If I were you, I'd start looking for a job...11,000 ain't dick nowadays....sorry to break the news...

Dude needs to get a job and do something with his life - if your goal in life is to make 30k a year gambling and survive on this you had better take a look at your future.

Why do most your sentences start with what you`d like?..No offense but who the fuck are you?

No professional gambler will answer you partner..least not with what you wanna hear..

Dont get me wrong...interesting questions...but just dont see any true pro coming here and saying.."duh..I am a pro gambler..I do not work..here are my picks for the whole year just so you can be pleased"

I'm assuming if you are a proffessional you are going to have to hit higher then 54%. How hard could it be to hit 1 unit a night on average? People have 8 unit days, 10 unit days, hell even 17 unit days. As long as you can avoid having your bad losing days peek over 5 units and I think it could work.

Maybe I'm not grasping the concept but I think it isn't terribly difficult.

What % do you think is reasonable?
