Eveyones a Scalper

Have any of you checked stubhub recently for tickets to the BCS bowls? It is fucking outrageous. There are over 9,000 seats for sale for the championship right now. That means over 10% of all of the tickets sold are trying to be scalped. This is a tough year though and I see the prices are way down and the slide should continue through kickoff.

With relaxed scalping laws, stubhub and ebay, everyone is a fucking scalper now.

Thank god I got my BCS championship tickets from a client for face value.

A lot people place them on Stubhub with the idea that if someone wants to pay, I will sell, but if not they are going to the game.

I wouldn't get rid of my Championship tickets for any price. 25 yard line lower level. I know the bigger problem is the face value for these tickets is $295. I think all of the BCS games have hefty face values.

I just gave a speech about this... secondary markets are opening up everywhere.. stubhub makes just about 25% profit each ticket

Ticketmaster has ticketexchange.. bigten just made arrangements.. this problem is gonna get worse, more competition might help with the price but my opinion is it will just make it harder to get cheap tickets

With such a large secondary market, that can only mean the face value will rise to what the true market price is...... $2,000 Super Bowl tickets and $500-$750 BCS tickets.

That is exactly right. We have seen this with concert tickets and now sporting events. Fuck letting the scalpers make the money. The leagues are now charging the big bucks for their tickets.
