was remembering back years ago mariners vs yankees, thought it was in the playoffs but dont remember if they had the wildcards then yet or not, i remember the Edgar martinez getting a big hit down left field and they said griffey is coming around and they beat NY, now was that a play in game to make playoffs or was that the playoffs?
