Like so many sexy picks that are made based on how a team ended their previous season...it usually doesn't work out as everyone expected. Take the Dolphins the year Culpepper was the starter they were to be AFC champs because of how they ended their prior season on a nice winning streak. Last year it was the Browns who came close to a playoff seed and were expected to be in the playoffs this year. This season the Texans are finishing up strong and for some reason with the parts in place at receiver,QB, and RB something tells me they may not finish up next year as strong as many would expect.
Maybe the expectations are too high?
Maybe the opponents have a game plan prepared by the time the next season begins?
Maybe its some kind of jinx that gets put on this so-called sexy pick that everyone seems to want to be the 1st to claim "I told you they would be good."??
Who knows...but I think Texans fans may want to expect the best, but prepare for the worst.
