Its good wine...doesn't have to be from Cali to fancy my tastebuds...finger lakes has some good wine


not to mention Im not a big drinker..wine nor beer...just have a glass here and there with dinnner

Shafer personal favorite of mine from Napa. Been to the winery a few times, played with the dog, sampled right off the line. Loaded up a case in the trunk, although they weren't selling much of the Select, only via the list.

Thanks ! I actually won the contest last year also but my boss was on vacation and his assistant somehow sent my entry when I was in the lead but somehow it didn't get through to the contest administrator and I lost by default ! Poetic justice that I came back this year and kicked their ass-s !

Great choice ! I've been there several times myself. I seem to be very partial to the Napy Valley Stag's leap Wines :grandmais

Alexander or Napa? Love Silver Oak and Shafer Select. Personal favorites are Bordeaux but also love a good CA Cab. Caymus, Stag's Leap, Jordan, Insignia are all favorites.
