It seems like every year there is a few teams that slip in and you think how or why does that team have to be in over so and so. I dont get that feeling at all this year in the NFL and this makes the playoffs even more exciting this year.

Now if I could change one team it would be putting the Saints in over Atlanta, now dont get me wrong Atlanta deserves it way more then New Orleans, it would be just for selfish gambling reasons. I really believe the Saints could make some major noise in the playoffs with that offense and at the right price I would probably have backed them. Plus I think they would have been fun to watch. I also totally love and respect what the Falcons were able to do this year, if anything I think it is great for all the NFL fans to see a team turn it around so quickly. I just think they are a year or two away from doing anything so that would be my only change I had my way but as from a deserving point of view no question everyting is perfect.

Some may some New England deserves it. Talk about a team that played over their head this year. All cause of the best coach in the universe on their sidelines. I have seriously lost more money betting against New England this decade then any team, in any sport. It seems they always seem to play over their heads and that is credit I give strictly to their coaching. Great coaching come from when you get your team to overachieve. They are NEVER out of a game it seems, nothing comes easy when you bet/play against the Patrios. The Patriots solely because of Belechick would scare some other teams, they were very deserving of making it this year with how well they played over their heads but I dont feel they are one of the best 6 teams in the AFC.

I think all the matchups this week will be close. I like most of the home underdogs this weekend. I usually dont like betting much during the NFL playoffs cause it seems by this time of the year my line agrees with the linesmaker but I see some decent value in 3 of the 4 games and 2 totals. I played Arizona +3 -110 already, which I am very happy with as I think they will end up the favorite come game time. I am waiting to play San Diego closer to kickoff as I think line goes up, hope to get 3 and will pay -130 if it is out there and also will play the under on the total, which I will also play close to kickoff as I think this continues to rise throughout the week and on gameday. The Sunday game I bet Miami +3.5 and over 37 so far on the first game of the day. I dont like anything yet on the last game of the weekend between the Vikes and Eagles, though I do have a 60-1 Viking to win the Super Bowl ticket that I have zero faith on.

AP will get stopped by the Philly Defense then Minny is forced to throw then there are picks and pick 6. Then a QB fumble then they are down 17 and there is no shot for Minny.

Hate to say it, but New England is better than a few of the AFC teams that got into the playoffs.

No team that lost to the Redskins twice deserves to be in the playoffs...

I was thinking NE before I opened this. I actually thought had they made it they could make a run.

Like who? They lost to Miami, Indy, SD. They do deserve to be there, but not ahead of Baltimore either. Too many good teams in the AFC.

When 1 team wins 11 games and the other wins 8, it's ridiculous that the team with 11 wins doesn't get into the playoffs. NE wasn't going anywhere in the playoffs even if they made it but it really is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous than a team with 12 wins going on the road to a team with 8 wins.

But SD won their division. SD at 8-8 also beat NE. SD is a far better team than Arizona in the NFC. Hey, someone had to win that division.

Is Williams back this weekend? The two keys for them is if he is back and how T Jackson plays.
