Can we get a thread going of healthy recipes,foods,or ideas.


Just wondering if anyone makes anything that tastes good prepared that is quick and easy or any good snacks that arent to bad for ya.:howdy:

Timetopay, I need to change my ways as well. I am at my highest ever (214 pounds) when I should be about 180 since I am 6 feet tall.

Thus, i have 34 pounds to lose.

i need to lose the same. my goal is to lose .75 of a pound every week of 2009 .

eat right , work out 1 hour a day .. should be possible.

SS Im in the 220 range 5'11.

Wife likes me the best at 190. Have hit 175-180 before and she dont like it. Says I dont look like a man no more. :missingte

So about 30 to 35 lbs.

With me its just a matter of with all the kids around having the right foods on hand gets tough and I drive alot for appts and shit so fast food way to often.

So I just need shit around that can replace it.

The best way is to eat small frequent amounts. During the gaps, chug water. You should drink about a gallon a day - pissing every 5 mins. This keeps you healthy (rid of toxins) and will give you that full feeling.

If it makes anyone feel better-I too have ballooned. I am at 188 from my marathon weight of 179 2 months ago-DAMN cookies!!! Starting tomorrow!!

since quitting my job, i have ballooned to my largest weight. Now between 235-240 on a daily basis. Was 225-233 before. Haven't worked out in 5 years. Before then was around 205.

Very good advice. There is a ton of healthy shit you can eat that tastes good and people are always hella surprised how much small meals fill you up if you just give it like 30 minutes. Water is great as well... I drink 10 8-ounce glasses a day. I'm under 1000 calories on some days and I don't even notice it. I know that's not the healthiest thing to do but it works for me. When I go to eat fast food anymore my stomach is so small that I can barely get a whole burger down so I don't feel the need to eat 3 or 4 like back in the day.

Not sure if you are trying to put on muscle but stuff like almonds and pecans is a great protein for working out. I've heard of a few body builders that snack on that stuff.

yes jake im a fuckin beast....key is stay away from the hydrogenated oils..they never leave your body

The fact that all you fuckers know how much you weigh right down to the pound concerns me a lot. So much so that I'm going to go eat a bucket of KFC and pound down some Michelob Ultra and think about how my ass is spreading out. FUN%^_

I have a digital scale in my bathroom. It's handy for seeing how much weight you can lose in a single dumper. :103631605

I've been working to break 1 pound but no success so far. I don't eat much. Do we need an RR thread seeing who can get the most weight?

I started this 3 weeks ago and have dropped like 14 lbs at last count.

As of this morning I am 211 and I started at 225... I am about 5'9" and I have been over weight for years, just tired of it but did not wanna make it a "new years thing" so I started early.

When I peel back the layers of fat around my mid section I can occasionally find my pecker.

Seriously though, you need to eat healthier foods. Veggies and fruits and lean cuts of meat. Cut out carbs here and there. Drink water and exercise and you should be just fine.

Ice Cream is some sort of veggie, right?
