Here's the deal:

Made deposits today with bookmaker.com with the understanding that I was eligible for 10% Bonus Play bonus with rollover.

I first deposited $250 and called for their advertised bonus. I was told the bonus was only given on deposits of $300 or greater. No problem. I then ask if I deposit additional funds to make me over the $300 limit would I be eligible for the bonus? I was told yes, that I would be eligible for the bonus in that case.

Later I deposited an additional $300. Called for the bonus and they said that it would be in my account in 20-30 minutes.

I end making another deposit of $300 and then one of $400. I call because I have been given no freeplay bonus at all. A second customer service lady reminds says that I am not eligible for the first $250 deposit and that I can only receive the Bonus Play on the other amounts where the deposit was indiviually $300 or more. I say fine and ask when the money will be in the account because I have been waiting now for some time. She says it will be in your account in 5 minutes.

Twenty minutes later I call back and ask what is going on. They explain that I have not be given any bonuses because I made a withdrawal of $2000 within the past month. The fact that I have deposited over $20,000 over the past 3 years and have made only that one $2000 withdrawal ever is irrelevant I understand.

My quarrel is that I was told, prior to depositing additional funds, that I was eligible for this bonus. I was told by two different customer service operators at two different times of the day.

I feel that if they communicated that I am eligible for a bonus if I deposit and I deposit that I should get the promised (x2) bonus.

The kicker was talking to the manager on duty. He explained his side and I explained my side and he let me know that I was not getting any bonus. That the only thing he could do was to review the tapes for disciplinary purposes, but that "you get no bonus'. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me that he was the only one who I could talk to.

I asked him his name and he told his name was Bob. Bob what i ask? "You don't need to know my last name sir, he says." How shady is that? He finally told me his name: Bob Ortega.

It's not a lot of money but I feel that I was treated unfairly. Let this be a warning to anyone dealing with bookmaker.

If Wil or anyone thinks I am right and can help then I would appreciate it. It's really just a matter of being treated fairly at this point.

Well if they record the calls they should have a record of what really happened. The manager, Bob, really sounded like he didn't want to bother reviewing the actual calls and assured me several times that it wouldn't matter in any case.

I always defend this book because I've been treated well but this is kind of silly IMO, especially if the numbers he used were correct. Down 18k and you're trying to save a few bonus dollars? Honor the word of your employees and give the man what he has coming. Keep us posted Grog, curious how this ends.

Wow. Down that much money and they want to quibble about a bonus and possibly lose future business with the guy? Really stupid on the part of CRIS.

You've deposited more than 20k over three years and only withdrawn $2,000 over that same time and are complaining about a bonus? I think there are other problems here to worry about.

they are stupid about bonuses...im a small player but I had deposited 300$ over a few days and was told if I get it over $300 I would then be eligible for their crap bonus. I hit live chat and they explain "oh sir you have to notify us within 24 hours after that you want the bonus" HAHAH it was like 27 hours later.

bookmaker isnt a book you use if you want a good bonus thats for sure. I love it cuz its app for blackberry is awesome, works as good as the web and their lines r solid and are out first it seems almost every time. Ive used alot of other books and thats my best by far. They also are good with using credit cards....particularly visa reloadables.

I hope you get the bonus, you deserve it.

One thing to keep in mind Enfuego is certain books can just have your number. He may be down that figure at CRIS but even or ahead overall in that same time period. I know for years Pinnacle would do that to me, they'd beat me like a drum but overall I would be about even as I would take down some of the other books I played out of. Either way I think the principle of this is what pisses the guy off. You have 2 employees tell you that you get a bonus and then they say no after you send your money? That would upset a lot of people I imagine.

every book wants to see that 2k back in before bonuses, the 20k down before doesn't mean anything.

Well the $20,000 is gone. Should I not worry about the $100 bonus they promised? I don't see the correlation. What exactly is your advice? The book beat me so I shouldn't bother being treated fairly?

The $20,000 is on me and you haven't heard me complain about that.

Thanks for your opinion just the same.

My advice? My advice is that you are not a good gambler and you spending 20K with next to no return indicates that very clearly. My advice is to stop gambling or blindly follow a better gambler. Sorry to be so blunt but you suck at gambling and need to stop. And no, you should not worry about $100 when you have much bigger problems.

You don't know anything about me or my gambling. You seem silly saying I need to stop gambling.

You don't know how I do or how much I bet. Just because I'm down $20,000 (over 3 years!) at one book does not give you the info you need to spread you're arrogant opinion.

Its pretty bad form to call someone a bad gambling and to say that I suck at gambling when you don't know anything at all about me.

Sorry that 20k is a lot of money to you but did you ever consider that it may not be to me? That maybe I have done better in other forms of gambling? That I bet within my limits and being down at one of my many outs does not mean I am incompetent, out of control or even unlucky.

Grow up a bit.

In any case its clearly none of your business and you over step your bounds with your nasty post.

The $100 bonus is a matter of fairness and not economic importance.

I think you should not have been so stupid and unkind in your response. I do not think it builds much good karma for you. Is this the way you go through your life? Putting people down? Especially when I'm being candid and honest?

Bad form sir, bad form.
