bunch of coaches bar none, in the NFL. There was a 3 play sequence yesterday that hi lites that. Less than 2 mins to go till half, 1st down inside their own 20, lucky to be down only 2, bad QB. So run it out right? Oh BTW Eagles had only 1 TO left. Ist play run, clock keeps running, 2nd play pass into the ground, CLOCK STOPS, run on 3rd, TO Phil, now you have to punt w/the WORST spcl tms in the league. No score, but very lucky. WTF?:ohno:

Starting Tavaris Jackson in a playoff game was dumb enough. Keeping him in there after it was perfectly evident he couldn't hit a throw put them over the top.

Experienced veteran who can make throws versus inexperienced young player who has no accuracy?

Yeah, I'd go Frerotte in a second.

TJ will come back strong next year. A decent coaching staff and a decent Oline would work wonders for him.

This problem should have been addresses LY. And Ziggy or Itzy whatever the dipshits name is says "Childress & his boys will be back next yr". G help us Vike fans. 2 things need help NOW OT & QB. Eagles can't be so stupid as to shitcan #5, can they? An OT we can get in the draft. Also Birk is probably gone. Cook was a C, can he switch? He sure as hell can't play OT. We HAVE to get a QB! Where from is the Q? How about Brady since Pats just made Cassel the franchise player! :nohead:

Yeah, I'd go Frerotte in a second.

I think you meant an experienced veteran who has proven he can't make throws with a 50% career completin percentage, tossed more INT's than TD's, and hasn't won a playoff game in 15 seasons in the league. Poor coaching is the Vikings biggest problem right now. When a defense is blitzing, you let a young mobile QB get away from pressure and roll out. Give him an option. Gus wouldn't have looked any better yesterday, he would have been broken in half in the first quarter.

i guarantee you put frerotte in there he has 3-4 interceptions. he cannot move, gets injured whenever somebody touches him, and has no discipline.

I will take a young guy who can at least keep a play alive over a sitting duck. frerotte would've been seriously injured if he was forced to play vs. that blitzing team. thats not joking either. guarantee he wouldn't have lasted a half.

Brad Childress Begins To Fight For His Job This Week At Arizona

By Matt Miselis
(Ravens Featured Columnist) on November 7, 2010

The tables have turned for Brad Childress and the Minnesota Vikings in the past year. The team has gone from an overtime loss in the NFC Championship game to a 2-5 record this year. More importantly, however, Brad Childress is now in a position to fight for his job.

After last week's controversy involving the release of Randy Moss, Vikings management was reportedly close to firing Childress and then keeping Moss.

On Friday, Childress reportedly had a heated argument with Percy Harvin, questioning his effort.

Childress already has lost respect of his locker room, including quarterback Brett Favre.

This week at Arizona begins as an attempt by Brad Childress to save his job. Not only is this a must win, but with a tough schedule still looming, the playoff hopes of the Vikings may finally fade away with a loss this week to Arizona.

Has any coach been fired during a football game? It'd be awesome if Chilly was fired at halftime.
