I'm having problems with firefox.....they just started today. If i close down my browser and then open it back up - none of the websites that i'm logged into (such as RX, yahoo mail, etc) are logged in. It logs me out every time. I've deleted cookies and all that crap to no avail.

Anyone have a suggestion?

tools - options - privacy -

It's all in there, not sure exactly what your question is, but it has something to do with privacy/cookies/data ect.

The cookie for the site is being deleted by Firefox. Uncheck the 'cookies' box in 'private data' > 'settings' area that Fred posted for you. Or you could uncheck the 'always clear my private data when I close firefox'.

I am having problems with the firefox as well where it constantly asks to install missing plugins to view any type of media displays. Can't seem to get the plugins? love firefox but since downloading on my new pc its been very annoying.

wno I'm on my second computer that came with vista and although it has some nice features I'll just say it sucks to sum it up. I swallowed the expense on both and reinstalled xp.

Vikings as some have pointed out, settings and security are the places to go. In security check the remember passwords for sites. Why did it stop doing this if you never changed anything is the big question I guess. My son is a big firefox guy and I'll ask him next time he stops by, it has to be simple

Also got a new one a few weeks back and fucking hate Vista.

Is going back to XP on new computer a simple task or takes advanced knowledge?
