are there any books that will allow independent wagers? I guess that it what you'd call them... A guy I know wants to put a 3:1 wager that UNC will win the ACC... I don't believe that is so and I like the field to win so I wanted to play the otherside... does matchbook or anything do anything like this where it's strictly between two people? if that makes sense at all.

Matchbook used to.. why put it at a book? a good old fashioned handshake should work

used to? X-Bets are still accepted at matchbook as far as I can tell.

I do agree on the handshake idea, why pay the extra juice? Get it in writing if you don't have that sort of trust with the other.
