  RADICAL international animal rights group PETA has launched its most bizarre campaign yet, demanding fish be renamed "sea kittens".
PETA - People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals - believes calling fish sea kittens will make sea food less appealing.
It wants to change the image of fish as slimy and slithery creatures by claiming they are similar to cuter, more popular animals. "Would people think twice about ordering fish sticks if they were called sea kitten sticks?" PETA asked on its website.

PETA, about to launch a dedicated Australian arm, is known for headline-seeking controversial campaigns, including supermodel-fronted anti-fur protests. The group is the driving force behind several major overseas clothing, retail and textile companies abandoning Australian wool because of concerns about the mulesing of sheep.

I am so thankful they didn't name them sea puppies. I could never ever see myself eating a sea puppy. But as it stands, I am alright with eating the occasional sea pussy I mean sea kitten thingy.

1980′s English rock star Steven Morrissey said in an online interview this week that he doesn’t see a difference between eating meat and pedophilia.
“I see no difference between eating animals and paedophilia (sic),” he said, responding to a question about what’s motivated him to be a vegetarian. “They are both rape, violence, murder.”

Morrissey added in the interview he would like “the Queen of England to be asked why she wears an electrocuted bear-cup on her head” and wondered why if a British celebrity is “so certain that flesh-food is tasty then why doesn’t he stick one of his children in a microwave.”
In February, Morrissey canceled an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” after learning the cast of “Duck Dynasty” would be on the same night. At the time, he said he didn’t want to be featured on a program that included “animal serial killers.”
