Not sure if many here have seen this, I highly reccommend it. From what I read this was as close to a true story from a movie version that I have seen in a while. Stuff all over the internet about it. Real good story.

****(Warning to posters with children, you may want too make sure they arent around with this on, as there a lot of cheesy sex scenes.)

It's ok... it's usually only on late late night, if I pass it I usually stop and watch, just to catch the Bijou Phillips nude scene.

I think my (and thanfully my GF also) movie taste is a lot different then most. I liked it because it was a true story. That is most important to me. It made you think.

For me too like a movie it has too be beliveable and somewhat true. That is why I hate stuff like Batman. Stuff like that is so unreal, not worth wasting my time watching stuff like that. I have been like that since I have been 10 years old. If a movie is too far fetched I will usually turn it off or not even attempt too watch it.

I liked it. But Larry Clark is a bit over the top with his directing; some of his work borders child porn.

There are a few scenes that really have no need to be in that film or are shot in a way that is unnecessary.

But it opened my eyes to the Bobby Kent story, which I really didn't know much about prior to watching.

Screwing in the car. The boobs hanging out while on the phone. I just don't see how this helps tell the story. We get it Larry, teenagers like to screw. It's almost like he just figured that out.

You are so right. Me and GF joked we hadnt seen this sex in a movie before. Dont know why he was so bent on having people naked all over the place. Like you said hey we get it, whats the point of all of it?

BINGO!! I read somewhere where the actress was pissed about that, says she didnt know about it till after the movie came out. Wonder what the reason was behind showing that. That was the first thing I thought the the second they showed that.

Same here, can't stand fantasy or action films. Needs to be somewhat believeable, a comedy (slapstick or dark), or a documentary. Haven't watched Batman or any of those type of films in years (unless my wife is watching Independence Day for the 100th time, that movie sucks!). Unfortunately, my wife has completely different taste.
