I Waited 20 Years for This!

Ive been a die hard Cards fan since they moved here in 1988. Finally, FINALLY we have a team we can be proud of. Finally we have a team that is respected and not the laughing stock of the league year in and year out.

Even though we won our division and made the playoffs for only the 2nd time since the team moved from St. Louis, this team still was not respected by most. I dont know how many times I saw a guy on TV or listened to one on the radio that claimed that the Cards were the worst team in the playoffs and possibly the worst team to EVER be in the playoffs.

Not anymore. Not this year. This team DOES have heart. This team DOES have more on offense than just Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald. This team DOES have a defense that can shut down a solid running game.

The Cards in the NFC Championship game? Are you F-ing kidding me. I still dont believe it.

One final note and thought:

Wierd Situation for me regardiing Cards vs Panthers game last night.

The game was on TV here in Costa Rica on the local Fox cable channel but with Spanish speaking announcers so when that happens I turn the volume off on my TV off and use the radio feed that is available on my computer from the internet channel that broadcasts all kinds of sports, sometimes it is only audio.

Anyway, I happend to get the local Carolina Panther radio feed and their two man team was absolutely shocked that Arizona was so good last night. At times they were literally speechless after a big play by The Cards. Typical example of what Wildcat Coach is talking about.

heart? my ass....you obviously didnt watch the New England game bc their effort in that game was one of the worst displays of football ive ever seen from a PROFESSIONAL team....

if they didnt wanna be there and play the game they shoulda just forfeited...i actually felt bad for the fan who paid money to be at that game

They laid down that game and it was an embarrassment for sure.

They had nothing to play for. When this team has something on the line they usually rise up and play their asses off.

Their is no excuse for the way they played in NE that Sunday. It was a joke.

Man, has it been 20 years? I remember I started a new job at the company where I was working in Phoenix on January 4, 1988. It was a short time after that when someone came into the office and announced the Cards were moving to Arizona.

I feel old.
