Those familiar with Tampa. Need help.

Just bought a ticket on Southwest to Tampa from Phoenix.

Never been to Tampa. Need a budget Hotel somewhat near the Stadium. Any suggestions?

PM me if you like, but I can't imagine that there's anything available in and around the stadium or in Tampa at all, for that matter. I can poke around a bit. How many nights?

Just booked a Motel 6 for 2 nights. $100 per night. Jan 31st. Checking out Feb 2. Thats WORST CASE scenario. Would like to do much better.

Sounds as good as you're going to get for SB weekend

A "real" hotel is going to be $250+ and up per night that week

No kidding. My plane tix and hotel reservations are 100% refundable.

The only thing missing from this equation is tickets to the game. Im not buying them until after we destroy Phili next Sunday.

Wanna know the ironic thing about this VD? I was a HUGE Eagles fan before the Cards moved out here. Randal Cunningham was my idol. It took me a few years to convert. I still remember wearing my #12 Eagles jersey to the game at Sun Devil Stadium in 1990.

That was the last time I cheered against the Cards...

Always been a huge Eagle fan, but went to college in Missouri 100 miles south of St. Louis when they were the Cardinals...Jim Hart was the QB and Jackie Smith the TE...enjoyed going to many baseball, hockey, and football games in St. Louis....could never get used to calling them the Arizona Cardinals....very ironic

hey wildcat, funny thing, i asked the same type of question this morning. we have our flight booked for tampa and we have a room booked at the pier hotel st petersburgh. if the cardinals get there we will be there!

15-20 min no traffic. Not a bad location, probably halfway between my house and the stadium.

Tickets will be very easy to come by if the Cards make it. You could probably fit all the die hard cards fans on a school bus. Could be lowest demand for tix in SB history.
