JW Marriott

or, if you want to take a forty minute drive south

Barcelo Maya

Barcelo's an all inclusive basically off the coast where cozumel is. Real nice but isolated.

I played pok-ta-pok when I was there. It is supposed to be the best course in Cancun and I think a Robert Trent Jones course, but it was kind of a dog track if you ask me. On the water so it was nice, but the course itself wasn't all that great it and had all that Florida crab grass shit.

Stayed at the Omni, which was nice. great beach, bunch of bars that had a rotating happy hour starting at around 10 am or noon. Was sort of at the end of the hotels though and thus, not too close to the main town area. Nice place though.

Oh, and from what I have seen of your posts on here, you should check out Plaza 21. It's a bit of a ride from the hotel zone, but I think you will enjoy it.

You may hit the over if you hit Plaza 21, nice little strip mall like place with "Adult" "entertainment" and gambling. Buddy of mine, who ironically enough met his future wife on my bachelor party in Cancun, plowed two chicks at Plaza 21 in the same night. Apparently the bouncer came knocking on his little cubby door when his 45 minutes were up so he went and found another chick to finish him off. Or so he claims.

Moon Palace. Not much beach, but Wilma took most of that for everyone down there a few years back.

I'm 4-5 hrs south of Cancun so not quite sure of hotel recomendations. Airport sucks though. I'll see waht i can find out. If you get a chance on this trip come down to Mahahual. Absolutely gorgeous, we're setting up a real nice tourist friendly business. Heading back to the states on march 12th, not sure what date you'll be out here.
