they need to do away with 2 things in the nfl :

get rid of the false start.. anybody can be moving behind the line of scrimmage before the snap. if the lineman moves forward , then go ahead and call offsides.

stop the clock on a first down during the last 2 minutes. their is nothing dumber than watching a team hustle up to the line so they can spike it.
