Any thoughts on it or any other football simulation games. Heard this was the best game out there for football. I have never played a simulation football game before but since I didnt get too enjoy a real football season this year being a Detoit Lions fan, I thought this might be fun replacement.

The only football simulation I've played is BOWL BOUND by Sports Illustrated and the NFL version, PAYDIRT.

Poster Hawkeye171 was dominating in Bowl Bound, although he usually took a very high powered team.........I recall he liked using the Navy team with Roger Staubach at QB.

Best team in Bowl Bound was the 1966 Fighting Irish squad, followed by the 1969 Longhorns

never played bowl bound, but paydirt was bad ass. Had a few years of it when I was a kid and would play out the entire season. I think BB is exactly the same but for college so I imagine that would be sweet too.

Ice, check out www.whatifsports.com. It isn't a dice rolling simulation like BB and paydirt, but it can be fun and they have a number of different sports and options.

BB/paydirt are dice rolling? i thought it would be a player vs player type thing and u pick plays to run vs the other guys' chosen plays?

you can go PvP or do both teams yourself.

Basically 9 offensive play options and I think 8 defensive play options, you choose one, roll the dice and match it up to determine the result.

That is an offensive chart for either BB or Paydirt. You select which of the 9 types of plays you want (5 run, 4 pass) and then roll the dice. The defense has a similar chart.
