As a pure pass receiver, Larry Fitzgerald catches everything he can touch with his hands. Don't think there is a better receiver in the NFL right now making catches. JMO.

He certainly has all the tools Ted. Will be there with Rice when he hangs them up.

I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't run the disciplined patterns that Rice ran but his hands are just as good if not better. Of course, Rice had Montana, Young, et al in the original West Coast offense under Walsh, Siefert for a large part of his career. Not sure how long Fitzgerald will have a quarterback that can make the necessary number of throws to him.

The adjustments he makes on a throw are exceptional. One of the few WR's who can be underthrown and still make the grab. Moss being another guy like that.

I think FITZ is the top reciever in the game at this time.

Having said that, I can think of a couple guys with better hands(or at least as good).

Fitzgerald is 30 years, 85 days. Randy Moss had been the youngest to reach 11,000 at 30 years, 222 days

Props Larry-- 12th on all time TD list

Fitzgerald, who dragged a would-be tackler the final five yards on a 24-yard touchdown reception to put the Cardinals up 14-7 with 31 seconds left in the first half.It was the most Fitzgerald had been featured all season. He entered the game with only 13 catches.
''Throughout the course of the week I definitely was much more heavily involved in the game plan. I knew I would get my opportunities,'' Fitzgerald said.
The TD catch was the 88th of his career, moving him into 12th on the all-time list.

Think about all the garbage QB's he has had his entire career too. Warner and Palmer really the only decent QBs he has had. And that was only for maybe a combined total of what would amount to 7 seasons. The rest were trash.

He's also 3rd all-time in receptions and 2nd all-time in receiving yards.
