What smartphones out there would serve my needs best? Priorities are I need a phone I can place my bets on the internet away from home and of course can be used for calls. I don't need all the extras. Don't give a damn about text messaging and cameras.If they come with it fine but number 1 I want to be able to get online just about anywhere.Thanks.
P.S. I already have AT&T which has been fine for me. I prefer to upgrade with them and am considering so far a Pantech Slate, a Moto Q or one of the Blackberry phones? Would any of these suit my needs?Also I much prefer having a keyboard instead of the touchscreen.Have a Ipod Touch and not crazy about it really.
go with a blackberry storm or curve or samsung omnia. If u want a keyboard for faster typing u almost certainly have to go with a blackberry. The storm's kinda in b/w a touch screen/keyboard i'd guess u can say since it's kinda both. I'd go with an omnia though if u didn't mind touchscreen

I just picked up a blackberry curve 8830 the other day, love the thing thus far. Can post, bet, take pics, etc with ease. Cool little device. Like a mini-computer that makes phone calls.
Also, if you aren't a big tech guy, they can set them up for ease of use (my dad saw mine and I just went with him and he got one as well and already called me to say he loves it)
