Didn't Roxygurl claim that she was on The Love Connection or The Dating Game or one of those shows?

Not that I'm that Old, But back in the Day. A lot of Game shows were Filmed in New York.

We use to cut out of school and go see them being Taped.

But when I got Older, I signed up for Pyramid. But never did get on there.

My cousin was on the old Wheel Of Fortune. It was back when you had to "buy" prizes with your winnings. I rmember that he bought golf clubs-a motorcycle and Season Tickets to the California Angels.

Auditioned for family feud but found out how the whole thing works and told them no thanks when they called.

Here how it goes.......

They choose everyone who auditions but really only plan on using the ones that are camera friendly, the other family's keep getting called in as alternets
and practice against the family whos about to go on tv with hopes of one day the "real" family will get in a car crash on the way over.

I heard stories of family's showing up 8 times and never getting on, just test dummies.......you do get free shit for showing up, lame shit but it's free.

Ex-wife was on Price is Right back in college when we were just dating.

She nailed the 'contestant's row' price on her first attempt & got the $100 bill out of Bob's pocket.

She was playing for a Toyota truck....got the first digits right and uncovered the front half silhouette of the truck on first guess but couldn't find the back half on next 3 or 4 guesses.

Then she got an .85 on the wheel but the last to spin bad beated her with closer to a dollar.

I once spun a prize wheel at work and won a $25 gift certificate to a bagel shop across the street.

I've never been on a game show, but I was an addict growing up. Remember "Concentration" with Hugh Downs, "To Tell the Truth", "I've got a secret", and countless others I spent my youth watching.

Can you imagine being on Tic Tac Dough with Wink Martindale? Gee Wink is that your real name? I bet you had a lot of fun in school with a name like that! :ohno:
