At what point are credit shops/agents held liable?

first off, I am paying my agent....but at what point are they held liable for the punters credit limits?

they can extend credit limit all day, but if the agent has been with the punter for a while, they know what they are comfortable with.

Sure, the punter is responsible for his own losses, but at what point does the agent take some responsibility and protect theirself?

The only one responsible for a punter's unpaid wagers is the punter himself

understandable, but at what point do you keep extending credit? So, there is no responsiblity on the lender themself?

So, all the banks that lent shit loans on those that they knew couldn't pay it back, it's all on those that got the money?

If the player ask for an extension the agent should say fedex,wire or deposit into personal account if even a portion of money and adjust accordingly.

If the player can't do that they don't have the money more than likely.

Then you run into if the agent doesn't extend,the punter get's bent and say's fuck you not paying you shit.

They are usually held liable when they find out they gave credit to a nonpaying shithead and get stuck with the tab.

The analogy is flawed because banks are lending money which does not strictly belong to them. They are therefore subject to a variety of regulations and controls which hopefully impede them from lending money to people who cannot responsibly repay.
