I kind of understand the process about making lines but the part where I need help is at the end.

I know in baseball you divide the offense number by the pitching number for both teams so it would be like

140/3.25 = 43.1
130/4.25 = 30.6

then divide 43.1/30.6 = 1.40 x 100 = -140

Thats correct right?

Heres the thing about the NHL I dont understand. Once you have the offense number what do you divide that by and would you make the defense number the same way.

I made an offense and defense number for the Boston Toronto game and got

Boston off 133
Boston Def 121

Toronto off 122
Toronto def 107

How would I turn that into a moneyline?
