I have been stopped for speeding well over 50 times since I have been driving......

and have never received a ticket. When you have a family member that is a cop (brother) it always gets you off with a warning. I got in an argument today with a guy from work that said if he got stopped he would take the ticket and not mention his brother was a cop. Do you think it is wrong for me getting special treatment? I drive fast knowing I will probably get off. The worse part is I brag about it to my friends and it pisses them off. Thoughts?

Just fucking with you. I probably wouldn't mention that my brother was a cop if I was to get one. FUck it, if I was speeding and got caught... I should pay the fine like everyone else does.

So why doesn't everyone who is pulled over for speeding just say their brother is a cop?

Rolling through stop signs, pulled over once by someone I went to high school with, another time with someone I went to college with

well obviously the warning isn't working if you have gotten 50 warnings

eventually something bad is going to happen out of this and that will be THE warning

how would YOU feel if someone injured a relative of yours because he was driving too fast and got 50 warnings

(not that I am a saint/ moral police , at the end of the day we are all adults in here and can gauge what our actions can cause)

Usually radar on the highway. Highly unlikely anyone would get hurt. Not much different between 60 and 80 MPH.

then again I am not an expert on the field to say whether or not someone is going to miscalculate something while making a move......depending on whether or not you are doing 60 instead of 80

going faster without incidents assumes two things a) that you can drive faster without a problem and b) that the other drivers around you are also going to have no trouble with you driving faster

also don't know if it would make a different to my body deaccelerating from 80 to 0 vrs 60 to 0, would probably get killed either way but I would imagine I have a better change going from 60 to 0

Funny you should ask Ted. Four times in the last year or so. Driving 80 in that thing feels like 50. That is one smooth ride. Radar detectors coming very soon.
