Wanted to let everyone know to beware of this betphoenix.com. While they did seem reputable and seemed to be an up and coming book, I recently had an experience where they physically stole money right out of my acct. About 10 days ago I played baccarrat in their live baccarrat casino and lost $814 in 30 minutes playing anywhere from $20 to $50 per hand. I noticed that on hands i lost, they would take my money and on hands i won they would still take my money and in fact take even more out of my account. For 10 days i talked to a manager there named Richard. He told me he would look into this further when he gets a chance, but he told me that he has a business to run and my money issue wasnt a priority. How nice that is. Well, over the course of 10 days I managed to nag them enough to get $485 back in my account, but it came a little bit at a time which i managed to lose immediately. I am still owed $330 and Richard told me that I wasnt getting the remainder of my stolen money back. He claims that everything worked properly in my account and no money was missing, even though i physically saw with my near perfect vision money exiting my account on winning hands.

Just wanted to let everyone know to BEWARE of this place. I am sure money hungry Richard will post his rebuttal on here so here are my 2 pieces of advice to you Richard....1. You are the house...you dont have to cheat and steal money from players to turn a profit. 2. When a player has an issue, you dont wait 10 days to resolve the matter and you certainly dont tell them that you have other priorities more important than this.

Ladies and Gentlemen....BEWARE!!!!!

Why not contact a Mod here, before going public and letting the wild west shot out begin?

I know I am probably going to get ripped but its funny how everyone is sooo quick to jump to the defense of a book, as if they never ever make a mistake!!!

Don't play online casino games. That is just asking them to take your money. Which they did.

again, online casino syndrome. why can't you people stay out of the casinos. go outside, get laid. hire a hooker. it seems like this happens because you have too much time on your hands.

This isnt the same as an online blackjack game. This is supposedly an honest live game that has a "so called" live feed of a real person dealing the cards. Maybe i did learn an important lesson. It doesnt however give them a right to steal the money from me on hands i win.

I am really surprised to hear this again. I posted a thread a couple weeks back just stating to watch the payouts on wins.

Another poster came on and said there was a problem with their software and he contacted them and they adjusted his account.

As for me I emailed them I believe 4 times to get a reason for this happening and I also had some screen shot proof of hands that I was not paid on. I asked them to look through all my hands and correct it.

I never got a reply to any of my emails. Nothing. But the next day my account had been adjusted up, but if it was the correct amount or not I have no idea.

there's no such thing as an honest casino game, even if beautiful girls are shown handing out cards with espn on the background as it has been described.

knowwhentoholdem if you know you were being cheated why in the world would you continue to play with the $485 they refunded to you. You could have just made a withdrawal and had the money in your pocket. Makes no sense at all if you ask me.

Eclipse...the amount you were credited back was most likely not the correct amount...especially if Richard had anything to do with it.

Gtc...you are probably right. I just wanted to lose my money on my own. I didnt need them to take money from me even on winning hands.

knowwhentoholdem, promise me you won't play online casino again. the next time you get the urge, read a book or play some video games. from what i've read this happens late at night most of the time.

Well... I will not make a stance on if itwas or not but my depositing to play live Craccarat days are over. I loved playing it for entertainment value only but seems to be too many question marks with it..

I will however use the book for sports and just have the casino locked out..

why not transfer it to the sportsbook then and roll it over there. I read in a previous thread they they will do that for players. To complain about getting robbed when you still kept playing is very strange. whatever guys that play in casinos and lose then call foul are all cut from the same cloth.
